My son turned me onto one of the most entertaining and enjoyable of “Reality Show” impracticable Jokers. It comes on the TruTV channel on our cable package. Not a channel that I had ever spent any time watching. It now is on top of my “Favorite” channels!
This show is about four long time best friends that enjoy embarrassing each other in any way that they can! So far my favorite episode is when Sal and Murr try to get someone in a campus library to hush them, using bird calls, jingle bells, tubas and other loud sounds that are not acceptable to produce in a library any where. The cymbals at wwbw.com turned out to be too much for Sal to handle so he walks out with his head hanging down low and is one step closer to be that nights “Loser” and that is never a good thing.
One very cool thing about my family is the way the numbers of our birthdays fall. There is a definite pattern of numbers and my mom played those numbers on one of her Las Vegas trips and actually won Keno money from them. The birthdays for the 5 of us run 21, 19, 17, 15 and 13. Isn’t that cool?
That numbering pattern didn’t follow through with my kids. Mine were born on the 1, 2 and 4.
I’m glad that I noticed that the inspection sticker on my car is ready to expire at the end of this month. I would hate to be pulled over and given an ticket for driving on a dead inspection sticker that would really suck and put a real damper on any Christmas spirit that I can pull out of my butt hat. Some days I can really feel it, especially if a certain Christmas song comes on. There aren’t a lot that I like to listen to, but every now and then one will come on that I haven’t heard a zillion times in my life time that will get me pumped up!
I know a lot of people take issue with having to get their vehicles inspected every year, it is a hassle, but in all reality it is a good thing since too many people would be driving vehicles that are not safe for them to be driving nor safe enough to be sharing the road with other drivers. Remember: Safety First!
Did you know that there are still states out there that don’t require anything after the first initial purchase and safety inspection. When you stop and think about all the vehicles that you are trying to share the road and the possible conditions that those other cars are experiencing that are not being taken care of for one reason or another, it can put a good scare in me especially when I’m in one of my “paranoid” moods. At least a legally required inspection sticker puts the heat on people to take care of the major safety factors or else drive illegally and possibly get pulled over, your license run and most likely a ticket that will cost you some of your cold hard cash. While a police officer stands by your car window and wishes you a Merry Christmas!
I’ve heard bits and pieces of this saying for many years, but I’ve never been able to find the whole thing. My best friend sent me another cute email today and at the end of it was this saying! Finding this was the best thing to happen to me all week.
I really like the new led lights that my son put on his dad’s truck for him today. I’m so glad that he his finally starting to show some interest in spending more time around here with his dad rather than running around town with his friends playing their very loud, outrageous music and having their sound activated lights that at times really gets my head a pounding. I never used to be so sensitive to certain lights. I am even noticing that I’m having a harder time driving at night. The oncoming headlights are getting harder for me to stay on the road.
The weather has been delightful and they both have been getting a good amount of things taken care of around here this past week. Now if only I could get them to help weed and harvest the garden so I could get that under control. I really want it done by the middle of October.
