Canadian Records and Applications Online

October 21st, 2011

One day I hope to visit some of the people that I know that have moved way up north to land we call Canada. I have never been anywhere even close to the canadian border so it will be a real adventure for me when the time comes. I do enjoy checking out a good amount of canadian sites that I am sent links to from time to time that are sent to me via emails from my friends. At least I can understand the language unlike any sent to me from friends over in France and Spain LOL!

I found a site that helps people to remove criminal record issues in canada by Googling “criminal record canada” the other day. It had some pretty interesting information there for all to read and learn about. They even offer assistance with the canadian pardon application process, which is something I had never heard about but was glad to find out about. If you have the need or the want to learn about issues like this you just have to go to Pardonservicescanada.com, it’s all good!

Wish you could see the beard on this guy to prove it is indeed a man wearing a skirt on the boardwalk. I sure hope that is a kilt. Just have not seen a plain solid color as a kilt – I thought they had to be plaid or a tartan.

Wonder if he plans on going swimming in that?

Dreaming

August 25th, 2011

My daughter has always loved horses and she really wants to own her own horse one day. I can’t say that I blame her, I’ve always loved horses too. It is too bad that we live in the city, there is no where even remotely close to us that has horses that we can go and see and enjoy. I would love to be able for both of us to take riding lessons. It would be so cool for the both of us to be all decked out in our handsome looking equestrian riding apparel and to go for a nice long ride on a trail or even better on the beach some where. Well a girl can dream can’t she?

So Far Away

August 15th, 2011

I’m so glad that Vickie, my closest family friend ever (her mom and my mom were best friends and we were raised together, sharing the same crib and play pen since day one) has finally found some where that she can live in peace since she decided a few years back “to come out of the closet” to her family and numerous friends that she had kept in the dark all of her life. It’s too bad that it had to be all across the country in the San Francisco, Castro Area, which means that we will be relying on emails, texting, Instant Messaging and cell phone calls after 9pm and weekends which is when both of us have unlimited minutes during those time frames. It will take a bit of getting used to figuring out the time zones and all but we will have it figured out and it will become second nature sooner or later.

Vickie tried New York City for a while, got a decent job at one of the Gay bars that was within walking distance from her new apartment that ended up being way to expensive for her to hold onto on her own. She tried a few room mates to help defer some of the expenses that total up real quick like each month, but they all ended up screwing her one way or another and she gave up after nine months of The Big Apple eating her up alive and has now left a bad taste in her mouth.

I am so happy and excited to hear that she is finding the west coast more to her liking. She has met a great gal that she is really getting into lately, she apparently works at one of the Coffee Shops that is owned and run by nothing but gay people and the majority of the customers are gay she Vickie has been spending a lot of time learning to like coffee (we were both raised on nothing but Lipton Tea) and might be getting a job at one of the nicer Hotels or Restaurants that are in the immediate area due to the connections that she is making at the Coffee Shop.

I wish her all the luck in the world in her new hometown, her new relationship, new friends, new hang-out, new apartment, maybe even a new job even. It’s so good to hear some good news from some one that I know and love for a change!

Cancer

August 12th, 2011

I just got word from a good friend of mine since our junior high school days, that her mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer. This is most upsetting considering that her mother never smoked a cigarette a day in her life. I wish that they didn’t live so far away because I would love to be there for them, but Wisconsin is like a 16 hour drive, way too far me to travel. This sucks.
