Getting the Pool Ready for This Summer

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012
When we first moved here, my neighbor across the street was nice enough to invite us over to use his pool a few times. We had a really hot summer, and although the Lake is close by, the lake water is much dirtier than a pool or a hot tub, so I like spending a few house floating and splashing around in a pool.
This year he told me that the trouble he’s had with replacing pool heat pumps is going to make for a later start to using his pool this season. At least he has a good source for them and it will be fixed soon.

Hot Tub Spa Covers Are Important

Monday, April 2nd, 2012

Hot tub spa covers are en extremely important aspect of having a hot tub, especially if yours is one of the popular outside spas that people are spending so much time in these days. I have always dreamed of having my own hot tub out back, water is such an important therapeutic option for me, I fear I would never want to do anything other than soak my aching body and all my troubles away and I’d become extremely anti social, preferring my hot tub over just about anyone!

The Need For Assisted Living

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012

We new that the time was close at hand when we would find the need to find a good assisted living arrangement for my grandmother. It is a good thing really as she doesn’t want to burden any of the family members by moving in with any of us, but she certainly will miss her home that she has lived in for almost 50 years. When my grandfather passed almost 10 years ago we were all so very afraid that she wouldn’t be able to handle living in their house alone, but she managed to get by just fine up until about a month ago, so we are trying to be pro active in looking for the best Assisted living community in the area that we all agree on and that grandma will appreciate as well.

For The Love of Aquamarive

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

My all time favorite color has always been aquamarine and I have found the perfect affordable home decor at the Z Gallerie’s website today. It must have been fate because I have been looking for some aquamarine decorative accessories and I just filed for my tax return and I should be getting some cash back in the next week. I learned to file my taxes online and it saves a lot of the time that we normally have to wait for our refund (if we get a refund) so I get my hands on my money in no time, as well as going directly into my checking account.

If you get a chance you really should check out this stylish home decor and chick furniture and see all the wonderful affordable furniture and the gorgeous accessories that they have there. Check out this beautiful piece of faux coral that would, and will, look great in the piece of art I am creating with pieces of the sea’s and ocean’s that I’ve visited at, along with all of the shark’s teeth that I’ve collected ever since I was a wee one. I’ve never seen a piece of aquamarine coral before, even though it is faux – so this is exciting.

My New Keurig B70

Saturday, January 28th, 2012

My weekends are supposed to be the time that I can sleep in a little late, rest up and relax some. Since we are having such unusual warm weather for the middle of January I planned on getting some things done outside that could be taken care of until waiting until spring and get me out for some much welcomed fresh air.

This morning started out just wrong from the get go. My phone rang at 7:45am and then my keurig b70 coffee maker, that I just got for Christmas, went on the fritz forcing me to break out the old jar of stale instant coffee in order for me to get some much needed caffeine to get me going with the outside business at hand. If that wasn’t enough to turn me to sour, my stupid van needed a jump start to get started.

I’m done and it isn’t even noon yet….
