My son turned me onto one of the most entertaining and enjoyable of “Reality Show” impracticable Jokers. It comes on the TruTV channel on our cable package. Not a channel that I had ever spent any time watching. It now is on top of my “Favorite” channels!
This show is about four long time best friends that enjoy embarrassing each other in any way that they can! So far my favorite episode is when Sal and Murr try to get someone in a campus library to hush them, using bird calls, jingle bells, tubas and other loud sounds that are not acceptable to produce in a library any where. The cymbals at wwbw.com turned out to be too much for Sal to handle so he walks out with his head hanging down low and is one step closer to be that nights “Loser” and that is never a good thing.
It looks like the phone answering service that I hooked us up with at work is working out well. I was a bit nervous about being handed a task as important as this one, since if our phone system isn’t up to speed then customers and ultimately management aren’t happy.
Since our receptionist has been out on maternity leave, some of her tasks have been handed over to the remaining people stuck in the office for most of the day, much like me. Guess it could have been worse, at least it is over and the situation under control and the office manager isn’t all over my back.
One very cool thing about my family is the way the numbers of our birthdays fall. There is a definite pattern of numbers and my mom played those numbers on one of her Las Vegas trips and actually won Keno money from them. The birthdays for the 5 of us run 21, 19, 17, 15 and 13. Isn’t that cool?
That numbering pattern didn’t follow through with my kids. Mine were born on the 1, 2 and 4.
I’ve heard bits and pieces of this saying for many years, but I’ve never been able to find the whole thing. My best friend sent me another cute email today and at the end of it was this saying! Finding this was the best thing to happen to me all week.
The weather does not really feel like autumn yet, but here it is November already. I don’t like to count down until Christmas, but it does seem like there is a sense of urgency to get into the spirit of the holidays.
I am focused on Thanksgiving now and will do a little bit of Christmas shopping here and there until after Turkey Day. We also have Veteran’s Day to celebrate this month. And I’m sure that one night, very soon, I will have to resort to turning on the furnace and getting heat in the house to stave off the chilled night air.
