It is good to hear that my in-laws are registering for a Back pain seminar that is scheduled in Dallas Texas on March 17th, which is only a few weeks away. They were both in a pretty serious car accident about 4 years ago and neither one of them has ever recovered from it. Most days they both experience back and neck pain and have run through plenty of doctors and various medicines, tests, therapies which none have done either one of them a bit of good. I can only hope that this back pain seminar provides them with something that will help them get through their days and nights without so much pain and discomfort. They are good people and don’t deserve this hard ship.

Back Pain Issues
Friday, February 24th, 2012baby sign langauge
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012I appreciate the guest post, Emerson Moses
I just finished reading “The Baby Book,” by Dr. William Sears. I love this book, and plan to buy a copy for any and all of my friends who have babies. One thing I read that really intrigues me is the idea of teaching a baby to communicate with sign language. Basically, what it said is that babies can communicate much earlier than they can speak with actual words, and if you teach your baby sign language, they can tell you what they want and need even when they don’t know how to talk yet. It assured me that this would help, rather than hinder, my baby’s oral language development. I don’t know any signs, though! I know I could find signs and pictures of signs online, so I’m going to see if we can get internet connection. I went to http://www.satellitestarinternet.com/ and it seemed like an option that would work for us. Then, once I am able to access the sign language for babies sites, I’m going to print off pictures of all the signs to display around the house.
Seventh Grade Science Smoker’s Humor
Saturday, February 11th, 2012I remember how back in 7th grade science class our teacher, Mr. McGregor told the class that he could tell who was a smoker just by looking at a persons fingers to see the yellow/brown nicotine stains. He stated that for two reasons, to educate the class on just one more thing that smoking does to your body and to see how many of us looked down at our fingers. We all got a good chuckle after that stunt, something that a few of us still remember and talk about from time to time when taking a stroll down our Junior High School’s memory lane.
I guess they didn’t know all the things that smoking does to the entire body, as they are still learning to this day more and more negative effects. Mr. McGregor didn’t mention that you can get “smoker lines” around the mouth area that can start becoming visible under a microscope of people who smoker as young as 20 years old for heaven’s sake. It’s most unfortunate that even if and when you quit smoking those lip lines and wrinkles don’t go away but you can take advantage of treatments that are available at premier clinics much like the Port Melbourne Cosmetic Clinic in Melbourne, Australia. They do all kinds of cosmetic treatments there, Botox Melbourne is still being used in record numbers to assist in reducing the signs of aging for millions of people.
Anyway it’s good to know that there are options out there that we can take advantage of in order to try and keep our face and body looking good since we (of course not everyone) spend so much time doing all types of things that end up destroying our looks all throughout our life time.
Movie Critic
Friday, February 3rd, 2012Years ago I took a course on screenwriting, taught by a famous actor and screenwriter while I was in Washington DC. He opened my eyes and my mind to the way movies are created. Now I can’t watch a movie like a normal audience member. I watch it with a critical eye and look for little tells, like the common locations and Hollywood tricks used during filming. I would love to be a movie director on a project and hope to write a screenplay that actually becomes a movie some day.
Skin Care Issues
Tuesday, January 17th, 2012My oldest daughter will be celebrating another birthday next month. The birthday’s just keep coming and coming, don’t they? Coming from a large family, there is always a birthday or anniversary looming just up ahead. We have so many that now we try to focus on just the kids when it comes to gift cards and Christmas presents.
This kid has always had sensitive skin and then when puberty hit she has had her hands full dealing with acne and still is. I’m not surprised, I still have occasional break outs and I’m and old lady in need of some anti-aging light therapy. Your face is never not in need of some type of special care for heaven’s sake.
Check out this cool info-graphic that I found and sent to my daughter for her to see, learn and possibly enjoy as well.
