Happy Halloween

Tuesday Night is TV Night

October 23rd, 2009

Tuesday night is the one night of the week that I try to be sure to be home to watch my favorite TV shows. The start at 7 and run until after midnight. So I like to have take out food for dinner and I can settle in the living room to relax and watch the TV.

The best part of Tuesday night is the Sons of Anarchy series on the FX channel. The show is close to real drama about a biker gang in California. It has a lot of technical inconsistencies and things that would never ever happen in a real biker gang, but at least it doesn’t show them as the comedic neanderthal thugs that most TV shows and movies portray the bikers. I enjoy watching it each week.

Fun Games

October 20th, 2009

There are so many different fun games on the internet now. I find myself addicted to one or another for a few days until I get good at them, then I move on to a new challenge. At the moment I’ve been playing Zuma’s Revenge. It has me stumped at level 53 at the moment, but I’ll get past 53 soon!

Happy Birthday Sis

October 15th, 2009

My sister is celebrating her birthday today. I suspect because the weather is foul that she will be finding something fun to do at home. Maybe a movie night with her daughters or a dinner together at Red Lobster.

Love you, sis! Hope your birthday is very happy and this next year is a very happy one for you!

Hoodies

October 13th, 2009

Now that there is a chill in the air, I have to dig out the sweatshirts and jackets. I have a variety of sweatshirts from events and  places visited. My favorite was a dark green sweatshirt from the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago. It was stolen off of me – wrapped around my waist – as I crossed a busy street in New Orleans during Mardi Gras several years ago,. That was freaky – to have your clothes ripped right off of your body in broad daylight.

I just realized that I don’t have a single hoodie. All of my sweatshirts are regular crew neck shirts. Not that it was by design. I guess I’ve never been interested in hoodies.
