Last night I could swear I heard a noise on the roof. I wonder if that was Santa? If so, he forgot to leave the gifts under our tree. Everything under our tree is the result of my hard work shopping and wrapping for everybody.

This was a nice Christmas in that is was quiet for most of the day and then got a little busy in the late afternoon. We saw a lot of family members and chatted with friends. But the best part was that my sons cooked dinner for us and I didn’t have to do a thing about dinner except sit down and eat a delicious spread of grilled steaks, whipped potatoes, green beans and a crusty artisan bread of some sort. Whatever it was I’m sure I couldn’t spell it here anyways. But it was tasty!

They shopped for the food, cooked it and cleaned up afterward. What a luxury!
