If you remember the Watergate scandal back when Richard Nixon was President, you probably recognize the nickname, “Deep Throat.” He was an insider who tipped off the press and brought the whole dirty affair to light. Well, it turns out the man’s real name was Mark Felt, the FBI’s #2 man at the time.

Last night they announced on the late night news that Deep Throat has passed away. Felt was 95 and a very brave man to take on the U. S. President and all his henchmen to bring out the truth back in the 1970′s. I was living in the Washngton area at the time and the whole affair was on the tip of every tongue for a very long time.
