We tried to go help with the cleanup but the police turned us away. We had taken our chainsaw and some large trash bins and big plastic bags with us in the truck, but they didn’t even want those. Oh well, we did try.

Evidently, Mrs. Williams was killed in her home from the storm making her roof blow half off and then it caved in on her. I don’t think she even knew what was happening. Mrs. Williams was my dad’s bookeeper for years and years until she retired about 8 years ago.

That was really sad news. I hope things get better today as people search for the missing and arrange for temporary housing for the victims.
